Singing, "The Noise", and Ketchup

If you listen at the beginning of the video you can hear William singing a song to himself. He then starts to make, "his noise." He makes this noise all the time, hopefully this is just a phase.

Visiting the Y with Grandpa

He thought this car was Lightning McQueen

He was not a big fan of these roller skates
My dad works part time for the YMCA. William got to explore a little bit of everything today when he visited grandpa at work.

Mia and Davi

William has become fast friends with two sisters down the street. Mia is 4 and Davi is almost 2. He has a great time playing with them, and this weekend he even got to go into their basement to play. They are nice enough to let him use their swing set since we have yet to get him one. Mia and Davi's dad said that whenever they are on a walk the girls "stalk" William. They always hope he is outside playing.

Big Boy Haircut

A drink of the Sprite they gave him when he got his hair cut
He looks like such a big boy

"More soda, please"

Over the weekend, we took William to get a big boy haircut. I was a little nervous, but it looks really cute. This new cut will hopefully keep him cooler this summer.

At the Hair Saloon, they gave William a Sprite. He rarely has soda, so at first he made a really funny face when it tried it, but soon he was saying "more soda, please."

Flying Dogs

Here is William calling the dogs in this afternoon. I didn't realize that our dogs flew.

Scared Song

William was telling us that he was scared the other day in the basement. He then started singing his "scared" song.

Big Scoopie

We went to a preschool open house today, and Culver's was there as one of the sponsors. Culver's mascot is an ice cream cone called Big Scoopie. William loved Big Scoopie. He kept looking for him the entire time we were there and continued talking about him through the next day.

Driving

William loves to "drive" our cars. I think he would stay in them all day if we let him.

Sand!!!

We put sand in William's sand and water table for the first time this week. He really had a good time with it. I think his favorite thing is to bury all of his toys and then dig them up.

Pet Store

William loved this scale for some reason
He weighed in between 28.8 lbs and 30.4 lbs

William loves to go see the animals at the pet store. I am not sure if the fish or the cats are his favorite. After this visit, he told me that he saw reptiles. I asked if it was a snake, frog, or turtle...he answered, "No, mommy, lizards." I stand corrected.

Mommy Time

William was so sweet this evening. At one point, he gave me a hug and said, "You my best friend, mommy".... life doesn't get much better than that.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Sassy

I am afraid that my little boy has picked up an attitude. Yesterday, I went to tell him and Aaron to come in for dinner and William immediately covered his ears, and then said these sassy (yet hilarious) words. "That hurts my ears, Mommy." Both Aaron and I started laughing, an action I know we will live to regret, but sometimes he just says things like this out of the blue. He is also really into to telling us he "can't." He CAN'T get dressed, sit on the potty, eat dinner (or any meal for that matter), play outside (what?)....the list goes on.

Sleeping with his friends

This is William asleep after having a little party for 30 minutes tonight. He is surrounded by all of his friends. He was telling us that he wanted to sleep in our bed tonight....oh, no! I hope these fears end soon.

Dinner with Grandpa and NeeNee

NeeNee made William a special plate

Exploring

Tonight my parents invited us over to watch the Mizzou game and have dinner. William always loves the chance to play at their house.

In this video you will see William going a little crazy, and then perfecting his jumping skills.

Cosmo and William

Topper has had several posts on the blog, so tonight Cosmo gets his turn. This was such a sweet moment the other day. William was laying on the ground looking up at Cosmo just asking him questions. Luckily, my camera was within reach and I was able to capture it.

Boxer Briefs

We are so proud of William's potty training success! I am really excited about the savings we will have from not purchasing Pull-Ups, plus he looks awfully cute in his little boxer briefs. I know, I know...someday he will be totally embarrassed.

Playtime....Rain or Shine

We took William outside to enjoy the warm weather before the storms rolled in. It was raining just a bit, so it gave him a chance to wear his new raincoat.
