We didn't make it out in the snow until tonight, but it sure was fun to enjoy the snow that fell on Christmas Eve. This was Emmie's first time out in the snow, and she seemed to really like it. William had a great time playing with Daddy in the snow after Emmie and I headed inside.

We spent Christmas afternoon and evening out at Rick and Deb's house. The kids got so many nice things. William plays with the dinosaurs he received daily, and Emmie loves the cookie shape sorter. William also loved seeing all of the trees they had up.

Treats for Santa

 

 

 

 

William put out cookies and milk for Santa. He also left treats for the reindeer: carrots and stone ground oatmeal. The star cookie in the middle was for Rudolph. In the morning when he woke up, he said "you know the cookie for Rudolph? I'm pretty sure Dasher stole it."

Christmas Eve

 

 

 

 

Christmas was a little strange this year due to the storm. We normally spend Christmas Eve with the Robberson side, but this year we stayed on the IL side and did the Schmidt Christmas instead. The kids had fun, and William loved the hot wheels track that grandpa built him.

Chirstmas from Miss Angie

 

 

 

 

Miss Angie sent William home with Christmas gifts today. He opened three transformers that he loves, and she sent a pop up tent and book home for Emmie. She is the best, and we are so lucky to have her.

Christmas Cookies

 

 

 

This year William actually enjoyed helping with the Christmas cookies. Next year we will have to tackle more elaborate icing techniques.

Punk Rock Princess

 

 

 

Emmie's hair is growing in thicker along the very top of her head. Daddy likes to make a faux hawk out of it. I am certain she will be mortified by these pictures one day.
