You Want What?

William requested hot chocolate for a snack tonight....maybe it was colder outside this evening than I realized.

Alien and Monster

His hands got pink from the side walk chalk and he said, "look Mommy I'm becoming a monster"

His alien drawing. I love the fact that he shows height by making the legs really long.

"This alien has one giant eye and one little one"

Holy Bubbles, Batman!

Posted by Picasa
William used to be a little leery of the jets in the jacuzzi tub, but now that they make more bubbles than I have ever seen he is a big fan.

A Little Outside Fun

The towel they laid on to look at clouds and figure out what they are

Okay, this is a little creepy...but who knew a soccer goal could double as a tent

A Little Gentleman

Last friday when I picked William up from Miss Angie's house, she gave him the biggest compliment. She told me that he is always such a gentleman, and so thoughtful with her and the other kids. She said he is the only boy at her house that is not constantly saying "me first." Apparently, he is a huge help with the baby girls at her house and holds the door open for Angie and helps her get the babies in the strollers. I'm so proud of him.

Don't Wake a Sleeping Dinosaur

Posted by Picasa
We have been reading about dinosaurs, and playing with dinosaur toys every night for a long time now. This is the first time that William has requested his dinosaur toys come to bed with him. We compromised on putting them on the outside of his bed rail. As he was falling asleep, he kept asking, "will they tell me if they need something tonight?" I guess we can consider this his first sleep over.

Our Little Artist

William painted this today, and told Aaron it is a sign that says, "no erasing the art." He said he painted a messy "e" in the middle for erasing...if you look closely you can see the "E".

It's Raining Flowers

Posted by Picasa
We have a beautiful flowering tree in our front yard, that unfortunately loses its flowers about 3 weeks after they bloom. Now that they are falling, William has been playing with the petals almost like they are leaves. He asked me the other day if we could make a big pile of them and jump in.

My Sister, Emmie

Posted by Picasa
We took William with us this morning to my 34 week ultrasound. He asked a ton of questions and was really excited to see his baby sister. The ultrasound tech asked him if he knew what his baby was going to be and he said, "my sister, Emmie."
He was fascinated by the "lotion" they put on my tummy, and told us all that when he grew up he would be a "baby fixer." We are not sure exactly what this means, but it was cute anyhow. When they were lowering the table after the ultrasound it made a really loud noise, and he was very concerned that I was okay. It was really sweet to see his concern for me. It makes me really glad he will be far from the hospital when I am in labor.

My Sweet or Silly Boy

Posted by Picasa
We were trying to get a couple shots of William kissing his sister before her arrival. As you can see, it was unpredictable from one minute to the next. He has his tongue sticking out one second and then gives me the sweetest kiss the next....the life of a 3 year old.

Stickers

Posted by Picasa
I have a feeling that my car will soon have stickers on the window. It's one of those things I never understood until I was a parent. The stickers haven't made it past the couch and the living room window, but it is only a matter of time...

PJ's

I have a weakness for pajamas for William. He just looks so darn cute in them. Today, I found pajamas that look like a doctor or an astronaut. He chose to wear the doctor ones when they came out of the wash. He put the shirt on first and was very concerned that he had doctor pants to go with it.
