Snuggle Buddies

Posted by Picasa
William and Topper have become great buddies lately. Cosmo is a little less tolerant of William's chasing games, so for now Topper is his dog of choice. Topper even lets him use his back as a pillow.

More "F" Week Fun

Roadway

Posted by Picasa
William built a "roadway" from one end of the living room to the front door. He used books, games, and toys bins to make his road and then race his cars down it.

Doughnuts!

Posted by Picasa
I think the last time William ate a doughnut was sometime around his 2nd birthday. This morning he got to pick a doughnut out at Quiktrip. His choice...the biggest doughnut with the most chocolate icing. He thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate treat that was the same size as his forearm. He ate a considerable amount, and yet we still have two-thirds of the giant pastry in a ziploc bag on our counter.

A Night Under the Big Top

The light up sword that was a big hit

The picture of the tigers William took

You can almost hear him saying "wow"

One of William's favorite parts of the night was "fighting" this Shriner with his toy sword

The 3 year old elephant that William loved

He was in awe

Before the show started, the Shriners shot long balloons into the crowd. I managed to snag one for him, and he hugged it for a long time.

We spent tonight at the Moolah Shrine Circus. William really enjoyed himself. He was excited to see all of the animals and the "trapeze lady." As the lady was flipping around, I asked him if he thought she was brave or crazy. His response was, "CRAZY, I don't want to do that." At one point, Aaron asked William if he wanted to flip around on the trapeze and he yelled, "NO."
The only part he didn't like was a clown that pretended not to be able to jump on the trampoline. The clown kept "falling," and William was really concerned that he was ok.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Posted by Picasa
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, William got to take a green bath when we got home from Miss Angie's house. He also ate a ton of green vegetables off a green plate for dinner.

"E" and "F" week

The drawing of his friends he made. It features Sam, Noah, and Abby. Sam and Noah are boys that come to Miss Angie's on days when school is closed. Abby is Angie's youngest daughter. He definitely loves being around big kids.

If you look close enough you can see what we will be calling Elizabeth once she arrives. William said that he liked drawing his baby with "crazy eyes."

The elephant he assembled for "e" week.

The Nursery

Posted by Picasa
Aaron spent most of his spring break working on the nursery. It is almost ready for her arrival. William was really sweet about the room decor. At one point, he walked in and said "mommy, this room is just beautiful." He's going to be a great big brother.
