The kids had a blast trick or treating, and we were happy that Pop, DeeDee, Grandpa and Nee Nee joined us. Baby Nolan and Sarah and Nate even stopped by so we got to see the cute little monkey. We have more candy than any one family should ever have. We have made a deal with the kids to donate most of their candy to the soldiers in exchange for a small toy. I think our dentist will thank us.

We spent part of the afternoon today trick or treating on Main St. William loved visiting the different merchants, and seeing all of the kids in their different costumes. Emmie had a lot of fun too, and would probably eat dum dums all the time if we let her.

We spent a beautiful afternoon at Eckerts in Belleville. The kids had a blast picking out their pumpkins. William enjoyed all of the bounce houses and carnival rides. Emmie really wanted to join her brother on all of them. She is going to be hard to keep up with really soon!

Some Things Don't Change

We Are Off!

We flew to Denver tonight, and after our flight the kids got a special treat. They were invited to go into the cockpit. The pilot gave William a certificate, wings, and the flight plan from our flight. It was a great way to start off our trip.

Love and Joy

These two love each other! Emmie loves it when William chases her, and William gets quite a kick out of it too. There is nothing better than hearing your children laughing together.

Emmie On the Phone

Emmie and I had a pretty long phone conversation today while I was at work. I was amazed she didn't hang up on me. I am starting to get a little nervous about my future phone bills!

Zoo Camp

William spent the mornings this week at Zoo Camp at the St. Louis Zoo. He LOVED it! He had so much fun that he now sleeps with the picture of his camp counselors and all the friends he made at camp.

Time to Catch Up

It has been far too long since I've posted to the blog. Things have been a little crazy around here, but I promise to get pictures posted from the past 2.5 months soon, so check back for new addtions that will be in chronological order.

These two have still been up to the same business of growing too quickly before my eyes. William is now 4 and half and Emmie is 1...where does the time go?
