William and Aaron spent the day at the Missouri Botanical Garden's Dinoquest. William had so much fun following his map and discovering all of the dinosaurs in the garden.

Our Baby Bird

 

 

Emmie has had difficulty feeding since her second day of life. We have been finger feeding her. I am hoping that these pictures help people understand how it works. This tube is actually a vast improvement over the syringe feedings I was doing in the hospital.

First Bath at Home

 

 

William helped me wash Emmie's hair during her first bath today. He cannot wait for her umbilical cord to fall off because he wants to "give her a real bath."

The First Night

 

 

 

 

After sleeping from 4:30 - 8:30 pm, William woke up and wanted to hold his sister. He was very gentle and was excited to rock her in her nursery.

Welcome Home, Emmie!

 

 

 

 

We were so excited to finally get home. William was so relieved to have Emmie and I home that at 4:30 he asked for his binki, crawled into my lap and was asleep in 30 seconds or less.
