Birthday Party

We celebrated my grandparent's 83rd birthdays today. It was fun to get together with the whole family....minus Aunt Maggie. At least she was able to join us via Skype. William had a ton of fun playing with all of the great grandkids.

I finally figured out how to load movies onto the blog...it's so much fun.

Painting Superheroes

William painted pictures of the Hulk and Iron Man for Mia and Davi. I was impressed with how long he stayed on task. After 30 minutes, I had to make him quit.

Bob the Builder

The past few days have been filled with pretend play. William has requested to be Bob the Builder and look at his "building plans." Aaron and William used the train map as plans.

The Magic House

William took his first trip to the Magic House, or as he calls it the "round house." (Not sure where that comes from) He was a little timid at first, but soon began to enjoy himself. He loved playing in the water, going down the slides, climbing through tunnels, and pretending to be the President. Aaron filled in as Secret Service.

Chef William

Chef William found a whisk in the drawer and asked to cook with it. I seized the opportunity to utilize some stale Kix. He had fun stirring them and watching them roll around inside the whisk.

William spent Father's Day having a blast. He wanted to play outside despite the heat, but he didn't last very long. While playing in Pop and DeeDee's basement he discovered Aaron's old Pac-Man arcade game. It was a 5th birthday present for Aaron. William loved chasing the ghosts with Daddy's help.

Tonight the Heisers came over to play and have dinner. It was a ton of fun for both the kiddos and the adults.

Father's Day with Grandpa

We went to spend this evening with Grandpa since we would be out at Rick and Deb's on Father's Day. We brought him a card and a small gift. William picked his card out and had fun giving it to grandpa. The best part of the night was reading a book about pirates.

Music Man

William is really into music. He is quickly picking up the lyrics to songs, and loves to talk about and play different instruments. He picked out a Father's Day card for Aaron today that plays a song when you open it. When we got home, he wanted to open the card and play his drum along with the song. It was so funny to see him play the drums, but it is especially cute if you watch his little mouth sing along with the music.

Mia is recovering quickly from her surgery, so we went down to play with the girls and visit with Paul and Val. The kids had a great time playing.

Mia had surgery on monday, so Davi came down to play to get out of the house. William was very happy to see Davi since had been over a week since the last time they all played together.
