Emmie's Baptism

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emmie was baptized today, yes on Halloween, but my sister was in from Denver so we had to make use of the visit. Emmie wore the Christening gown that my grandmother made. It has been used by my mother and her sisters, most of my cousins, and many of my cousins' children. Emmie's sponsors are her Aunt Claire and Aunt Maggie.

She did a great job during the service and was a really happy girl all day.

 

 

 

 

Suzuki Concert

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

William had his first Suzuki concert this weekend along with a halloween celebration and his group class. It was a long start to a very busy weekend, but he had fun.

Merchant Trick or Treat

 

 

 

 

 

 

We took the kiddos downtown for Merchant Trick or Treat. William was Bumblebee the Transformer for Halloween, and he was not a fan of the mask that went with his costume. Emmie was a cute little butterfly.

Here is a small glipse of what goes on at William's group Suzuki classes. As you can tell, he is on the younger side....perhaps that's why he thought it would be a good idea to close his eyes while marching in the circle.

Fun at the Dinner Table

 

 

 

 

Aaron has class monday - thursday night, so it is just the three of us at dinner time. Tonight we had a lot of fun at the table...please disregard the food that is still on William's face...we hadn't washed up for bed yet.

William is 4

 

 

William had his 4 year check up today, despite the fact that he has been 4 for 10 days now. He is right at the 50th percentiles for both height and weight. He weighs 35.5 lbs and is 40 inches tall. They gave him 2 of his kindergarten shots plus the flu shot, and he was a real trooper. Dr. Eberhart said he looks great, and has wonderful verbal skills and she was impressed that he could right his first and last name :)

Emmie is 5 months old

 

 

 

We brought Emmie with us to William's 4 year check up today, and it just so happened to be the date that she turned 5 months. She was also diagnosed with a double ear infection. Her weight and height at 5 months are both between the 25th - 50th percentiles. She weighs 14lbs and 14oz. and is 25 inches long. She has started to expand her foods to inclued sweet potatoes and peas. She LOVES sweet potatoes, and is not a fan of peas...but I can't blame her they smelled awful.
