What's Your Number?

William loves to ask the age of things right now. He often asks, "What's your number, daddy...mommy....topper, etc."
Here is a quick video of him playing that game on Easter at my Aunt and Uncle's house.

NeeNee and Grandpa

I guess I should have made the title for this post Easter number 500 and counting. William had a FUN filled day. It started off with an Easter egg hunt inside our house and receiving his Easter basket. We then went to my Aunt and Uncle's house for an Easter meal....where there was yet another Easter egg hunt.

I had picked out a very preppy Easter outfit for William. When I got it out this morning, he told me he wanted to wear it and go to work like Daddy. I was really excited that maybe there would not be a fight to get him dressed for once....I was wrong. We managed to get the pants, shirt, and coat on, but Grandpa was successful in getting the tie on once we got to the party. I am so happy he wore the tie. It was the first time he has had one on, and I think he looked awfully cute. (I know....I'm a bit biased)

When we got home, we invited our little friends down the street to come over for Easter egg hunt number 5 million and 53. This egg hunt was supposed to happen earlier in the week, but all the kids were sick.

After the birthday party, we stopped by Nee Nee and Grandpa's to have the last celebration of Daddy's birthday. William also had Easter with them tonight.

The whole gang

William went to his first kid birthday party today. It was for a little boy from the baby sitter's house. He is turning 4, and the party was held at The Little Gym. William took a long time to warm up to the idea of playing with all of the bigger kids, but he eventually got the hang of it.

Big Wheel

William woke up today to find his Big Wheel in the living room. He received it as an Easter gift yesterday from Pop and DeeDee. Aaron put the decals on it last night. William could not stop smiling while playing with it this morning. His feet don't quite reach the pedals, so he has to use his feet to shuffle along with the bike....it sure doesn't seem to bother

him.

Stop Wind

Aaron took William to lunch after visiting the Easter Bunny. They sat outside, at William's request, it was a little windy. At one point, the wind started really gusting, and William stuck his hand out and said "stop wind." I know he controls our household, but now I think he believes he has super powers.

Easter Bunny

William got to meet the Easter bunny at a little candy shop in town today. He warmed up to the rabbit very quickly. At one point, he was bringing stuffed animals over for the bunny to hold. It was really sweet.

Daddy's Bday Weekend

William couldn't wait to dig into the cake

My boys

Today William and I surprised Aaron by putting balloons on the mailbox and getting a little cake, so that we could celebrate his birthday. William even picked out a present for Daddy. It contained two toy microphones ("so daddy and me can sing.") and two cars ("i want to race these with daddy.")

Out of the mouths of babes

William has said some really funny/sweet things in the past day or two.

Yesterday while playing with the girls he said to Mia. "Mia, you my best friend." Mia then hugged William.

When I was sitting with him at bedtime last night, he told me his toe hurt and to kiss it. I kissed it. He then said, "I want Davi to kiss it."

Also at bedtime last night, William said to me "I'm a vegetable, mommy."
Me: "What kind of vegetable are you?"
William: "Banana" (laughing)
Me: "A banana is fruit."
William: "I'm a banana, I'm silly."

This evening we were playing in the basement and Cosmo was sitting close. William walked up to Cosmo and pushed the area between his eyes. He then said, " I push Cosmo's talk button." Later on in the car, he touched himself between the eyes and said, " I push my talk button."

Talking to Pop

William was rather lazy today while talking to Pop on the phone.

Mia, Davi, and Paul

William pines for his new little friends all of the time. Here he is calling for Mia, Davi, and theire dad Paul.
