He actually was not afraid of the gecko. He shook his hand and was fascinated by him.

Saturday we decided to take William to the zoo because my earlier attempt this week was not successful. It was pretty cold out, but we had a great time. There were very few people there, so we got to see everything up close. He didn't seem to mind the cold at all.
