We spent a solid 30 minutes reading a look and find Thomas book tonight with Daddy. William really impressed us with his ability to find the items on each page. The book is an easier version of something like Where's Waldo. You could see how proud he was of himself whenever he found the right match.
Tonight's bedtime, well post-bedtime, conversation.
Approximately 1 hour after he was put in his crib.
Me: "William it is night time."
William: "I super hero, mommy." (He then makes various flying sounds...he has picked this up from the two older boys at the sitters.)
Me: "Well, even super heroes sleep."
William: "I super hero, you super mommy" (At which point he melts my heart, and I pick him up and rock him)
He falls asleep quickly, as usual.
